As the name implies, First Friday Coffee always takes place on the first Friday of the month. This means that the next event will be Friday, August 4th, just a few weeks away. The regular event runs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., giving you two full hours to network. It is hosted by the First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach, and it takes place in their Christian Life Center at 21 First Street SE. You don’t need to RSVP ahead of time, so you can decide the night before (or even that morning!) if you will attend. Don’t worry about parking either as there are plenty of spots right there.
Incredibly Affordable
First Friday Coffee is very affordable to attend. It only costs $10 if you are a member of the Chamber of Commerce, or $15 if you aren’t. This price not only includes the ability to network with everyone there, but also a delicious breakfast! To help make it so affordable, each monthly event has a different sponsor. For August, Emerald Coast Surgery Center is sponsoring the event. Local companies also regularly offer door prizes, although they can vary greatly. If you attend First Friday Coffee, you may end up going home with a gift certificate or something else.
The Largest Networking Event
There are other networking events in Okaloosa County, but First Friday Coffee is the largest of all regular events. You can always count on hundreds of people to attend, dramatically increasing your number of business contacts. After all, the event regularly draws in 300 different business leaders from around Okaloosa County.
