Get Hands On With Science

The little girl exploring electricity in the Hall of Science

If you’re searching for a rewarding afternoon of family fun, then Lee Nissan Fort Walton Beach recommends that you stop by the Emerald Coast Science Center.

The Emerald Coast Science Center is a regional science museum that offers scouting workshops, weekend discovery programs, after-school and even programs, exhibits, and much more. Over the years, the Emerald Coast Science Center has worked hard to revamp its offerings, including expanding its operating hours, purchasing professionally designed exhibits, adding more space for classrooms and exhibits, and installing new robotics and ecosystem exhibits.

Recently, the Emerald Coast Science Center debuted a brand-new exhibit – sciPad featuring SMALLab Learning. According to the museum, SciPad is an “embodied learning platform that has every learner up, moving, and collaborating in an interactive environment.”

The Emerald Coast Science Center prides itself on its ability to inspire and grow the community around it. In fact, it was recently named Emerald Coast Magazine’s “2021 Best of The Emerald Coast.”
