Nissan has announced a major marketing push in its sports sponsorship, backing 100 specific colleges and universities, including select NCAA championships, and 22 sports. This is an historic four-year deal that kicked off earlier this month with a handful of games, but ramped up in the middle of November. According to a Nissan press release, this “marks the widest-reaching sponsorship in the history of collegiate sports.”
The Nissan sports sponsorship includes schools from all over the country, including several in Florida, meaning Fort Walton Beach residents may be seeing evidence of this sponsorship whether they go to college games, or just watch them on TV.
Beyond March Madness
Nissan has previously had corporate affiliation with NCAA’s March Madness and its continuation of the “Heisman House.” With the sponsorship extending to specific colleges and universities, expect to Nissan at most of the games you might watch. The marketing push expands on Nissan’s Super Bowl TV ads, which came back to the network last year. This is good for Nissan, as well as Nissan enthusiasts, who may see other brands overshadow their beloved Sentra, Rogue, or Frontier.
Nissan Models
There are several models to choose from in the Nissan family. The Nissan Altima and Sentra are just a couple of examples of reliable and affordable models for people in the Fort Walton Beach area. The Rogue and Pathfinder hatchbacks are perfect for those who want to get away to the beach or just need to load up and head to the store. The Nissan Frontier is a pickup with enough room in the back and power to get most jobs done.
