Just because you decided to buy a 2016 Nissan Murano doesn’t mean you are done making your decision. You will still need to take the time to figure out how to configure your Murano. Luckily, there is a version of this crossover SUV for everyone, regardless of your needs. There are four trim levels to choose from, and the Murano always has a 3.5-liter V6 engine.
Murano S
You will want to choose the 2016 Murano S trim level if you simply love the styling of the Murano and don’t need anything too flashy. This version still starts at $29,740**, making it incredibly affordable. It gives you the latest technology, like a CD player, inputs for auxiliary audio and USB, satellite radio, smartphone app integration, a 7-inch display, and Bluetooth for both phone and audio. Additionally, this trim has dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, rear privacy glass, 60/40 rear seats, LED taillights and running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and automatic headlights. If you want a bit more than the Murano S offers but don’t want to pay for the all the features of the SV, you can also add on the Navigation Package. In addition to navigation, this package upgrades your touchscreen to 8 inches and adds HD radio, an extra USB port, and voice recognition.
Murano SV
For Fort Walton Beach drivers who want more interior comfort and convenience, the 2016 Nissan Murano SV is perfect. It builds on the S with the Navigation Package, adding remote start, fog lights, roof rails, and leather on the steering wheel. It also adds 4-way power adjustment for the front passenger, 8-way power adjustment for the driver, plus power lumbar for the driver.
Like the Murano S, the SV has an option package for those who want a bit more without upgrading to the next model. The Premium Package adds 11 speakers of Bose sound and a panoramic sunroof.
Murano SL
If you don’t want to pay extra for the Bose audio system and want advanced safety features or leather upholstery, go with the Murano SL. This trim has rear cross-traffic and blind spot warnings, a 360-degree parking camera, driver seat memory, heated exterior mirrors, heated front seats, leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting, a power liftgate, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. You can get the sunroof in the Technology Package, which also has forward collision warning featuring automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
Murano Platinum
Those who want all of the available features in the Murano or a luxurious vehicle without a premium brand’s price tag will appreciate the Murano Platinum. It has all of the above features, along with power adjustment and heating for the steering wheel, more memory settings, ventilated front seats, power return rear seats, heated outboard rear seats, LED headlights, and 20-inch alloys. You can further customize the Platinum trim with the technology package.
