Few things ring as classicly American as a Corvette. The sports car brand has around since 1953, and it’s the original cool-guy convertible. With such a rich history, those that are lucky enough to own one (or several) are happy to show them off. But this isn’t just any Corvette show. This September, Vets with Vettes hosts Vettes At The Beach. Catch some rays while you check out these timeless rides.
Vettes at the Beach Car Show

Please note that MSCC cars are not eligible for awards. The cost for registration is $45 and includes two tickets to Friday’s welcome dinner and a special edition dash plaque. You can print the registration form at home for faster processing.
Corvettes You Might See
With a car show, you never know exactly what you’re going to see. The best part of these events is that the owners are there with their cars, so you have the chance to learn firsthand the history of the car from someone who knows it best. Here are some of the most popular Corvette models that might pop up at this year’s Vettes on the Beach car show.
- 1963 Corvette Coupe. This Corvette doesn’t take the cake as the fastest model, but what it lacks in speed it makes up for in beauty. It is one of the most sophisticatedly designed early Corvette models.
- 1990 Corvette ZR-1. If high-tech is the defining factor you’re after, try and spot one of these in Pensacola. In its heyday, this Corvette is what elevated the brand to supercar status.
- 1955 Corvette. As the first V8-powered model, this antique car is known as the first real Corvette.
- 2009 Corvette ZR1. This beauty made its mark as the quickest and fastest production Corvette ever built. It includes 638 horsepower from a supercharged V8 engine.
- 1967 Corvette L88. This is one sneaky convertible. Although this Corvette was rated at around 430 horsepower, it really produced closer to 550. Talk about jolt!
