Versa and Versa Note

Browse the most affordable vehicles in the Nissan lineup, and both the 2016 Nissan Versa and 2016 Nissan Versa Note will likely grab your attention. The 2016 Versa starts at just $11,990* while the Versa Note starts at a still-budget-friendly $14,180*. Other than the pricing, there are a few important differences between these two models.

2016 Nissan Versa and Versa Note Body Style Differences

The biggest difference between the Versa and Versa Note is their body style. The Versa is a sedan while the Versa Note is a hatchback. This difference in style means that the Versa Note is more spacious, offering a bit more headroom and cargo room. When you compare the specifications, you will notice that the Versa Note has more front headroom and more second-row legroom and headroom. It is also important to notice that because it is a sedan, the Versa only has 14.9 cubic feet for cargo, which is within its trunk. The hatchback design of the Versa Note gives you 18.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Folding them down increases this to 38.3 cubic feet.

2016 Nissan Versa and Versa Note Trim Options

If your goal is customizing your Nissan, then the Versa Note offers slightly more choices. The Versa Sedan is available as the S, S Plus, SV, or SL trim. The Versa Note, however, adds an SR trim between the SV and SL, giving you some sporty features.
