Truck drivers have loved the new Nissan Titan and Titan XD, but Nissan still has something special in store for them coming this summer! The all new half-ton 2017 Nissan Titan is set to roll into Lee Nissan in Fort Walton Beach this summer. This is not the same Nissan Titan of the past, though it will have some resemblance to its predecessors. The all new half-ton version of the 2017 Nissan Titan XD is going to give truck drivers something they have been missing in the market so far.
What Nissan Has to Say About the New Half-Ton Titan
“There’s a strong family resemblance between TITAN XD and the standard TITAN, with their shared rugged exterior style,” said Rich Miller, Director of Product Planning for Trucks, SUVs and Commercial Vehicles, Nissan North America, Inc. and Chief Product Specialist for TITAN and TITAN XD. “TITAN will compete in the heart of the full-size pickup segment – the half-ton – while the TITAN XD provides a unique solution for customers by bridging the cost and capability gap between traditional half-ton and full heavy-duty pickups. Together TITAN and TITAN XD will cover nearly 85 percent of the total full-size truck market.”
Nissan is confident that this new Titan Model will help fill the Titan lineup to cover every truck drivers needs and wants!
Current Nissan Titan Options in Comparison
The Nissan Titan and Nissan Titan XD have some very similar stylings, but they will also have some major differences. The XD is 14.7 inches longer than the Titan, the half-ton however will be built on its own chassis with very few similar components to the Titan XD.
The new half-ton Titan may not be available until this summer, but Lee Nissan in Fort Walton Beach has the 2016 Nissan Titan and the 2016 Nissan Titan XD ready for you to take a test drive. Visit them today to start your comparison and find out more about the upcoming half-ton Titan!
