A 182-horsepower 2.5L 4-cylinder engine is the driving force under the hood of both the 2015 Nissan Altima 2.5 and 2.5s. With a Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System and Nissan’s exclusive Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission, both achieve up to 27/38 mpg*. Projector-type Halogen Headlights light up the road in front of both, but the 2015 Altima 2.5s turn on and off on their own with Smart Auto Headlights. Also standard on both models are 16-inch Steel Wheels, Variable Intermittent Speed-sensitive Flat-blade Windshield Wipers, and Advanced Drive Assist Display. Both have the convenience of Power Locks, Power Windows with One-Touch Driver’s Side Auto Up/Down, and Push Button Ignition. A Nissan Intelligent Key, which removes the necessity of fitting a key in a door lock, is standard for the 2.5s. While both models include a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with Easy-fill Tire Alert, the 2015 Altima 2.5s adds a Tire Pressure Display for individual tires.
