You’ll find plenty of it – and incredible live entertainment, to boot – when you come out to the 40th annual Destin Seafood Festival, Friday, October 5, through Sunday, October 7, 2018. This food and music festival has become a beloved tradition in Destin, the “world’s luckiest fishing village,” drawing seafood lovers and music aficionados from all over to celebrate the best offerings of the Gulf Coast as well as engaging live musicians showcasing a variety of musical genres.
A Music Lover’s Seafood Fest
The Destin Seafood Festival takes place along the historic Destin Harbor and the Harbor Boardwalk on Harbor Boulevard (Highway 98). Admission is free, and you’ll have access to delectable food vendors as far as the eye can see, as well as arts and crafts vendors and more – plus lots of great live music! Various stages scattered around the Harbor and in nearby restaurants and lounges host the many live performances.

There will be plenty for the younger set throughout the weekend, too, with multiple kids’ zones featuring pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, games, hamster balls, a rock climbing wall, and a zip line over the festival crowds. Don’t miss the annual Kids Mingo Toss, an old-fashioned fish-throwing contest for kids up to age 12.
