Destin hosts a variety of events the week leading up to the Fourth of July. Come out to Destin Commons on July 3 for Smoke on the Coast. This BBQ Competition features live music, street performers, and the best BBQ in all of Florida. The holiday celebration culminates with the City of Destin’s annual Independence Day Fireworks Show. Held near Destin Harbor, the firework show begins at 9 p.m. Be sure to turn your radio on 96.5 FM to hear the music show that accompanies the unforgettable firework show.
