The holiday season is here, and lots of people are filled with the Christmas spirit – you see it everywhere you go. And while we may not get snow here in Fort Walton Beach, we still have plenty of winter wonderland happenings to enjoy. Check out these Christmas events around town and see which ones you want to attend.

There are lots of lists that people are checking off during the holidays, but keeping children safe is near the top of everyone’s list all year long. And that’s exactly what Safe Connections aims to do. So when you celebrate Cruisin’ Into Christmas, you’ll be supporting a good cause as well.

Keep A Little Christmas In Your Heart

Let the Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus put you in the Christmas spirit with their rendition of some holiday classics. Catch the show on December 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. or December 11 at 3 p.m.

Holiday Pops Featuring The Doo Wop Project

Head down to the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center and enjoy music by The Temptations, Frankie Valli, and The Four Seasons. Well, none of them will be there but their music will be – doowopified.

Reindeer Dash

Take part in the annual 5K or 10K run in Fort Walton Beach benefitting Toys for Tots on December 10. This year, your finisher’s medal will convert to a Christmas ornament. Pretty cool, huh?

Christmas Comedy Show

Care for a good laugh? Check out the Christmas Comedy Show on December 16 featuring DJ Money Mike, Rudy Wilson, and Alisha Coley. Doors will open at 8:30.

18th Annual Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle Fiesta

Everyone child deserves a happy Christmas, and that’s exactly what United For A Good Cause intends to provide on December 18 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. If you are financially disadvantaged, no matter your race, ethnicity, or creed, come get the toys, bikes, meals, entertainment, and more you need to put your and your kids in the spirit of the season.
