Memorial Day Weekend is always a great time to get together with Friends and family and enjoy the rights and freedoms that our fallen soldiers fought for all of us to have. Yearly Traditions for Memorial Day
Many people like to honor Memorial Day with annual traditions such as decorating the graves at national cemeteries, working on community cleanup projects of public spaces or Memorial areas that may need a little TLC, or even writing letters to current active military members to let them know that people are grateful for their service. These are all wonderful ways to honor and commemorate the holiday, but none of them will take up an entire weekend. Memorial Day at Baytowne Warf
Baytowne Warf in West Miramar Beach, Florida is only about a 30-minute drive from Fort Walton Beach and has easily become a favorite spot for many people who live in or visit the area. Baytowne Warf is setting out to help you kick off your summer with their Memorial Day Weekend Celebration running from Saturday, May 27th – Monday, May 29th. Saturday & Sunday at Baytowne Warf
On Saturday and Sunday night from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm there will be Live Music at Baytowne Warf, allowing you to dance or just sit back and enjoy the tunes as you relax under the stars! There will also be kids activities and a Patriotic Themed Firework Show on Sunday Evening!
Monday at Baytowne Warf
The festivities continue into Monday when you can thank a Veteran for the wonderful service they have provided for our country as the Sandestin Veterans present a Memorial Day program in honor of our veterans at Baytowne Warf.
There is no shortage of ways to celebrate the Memorial Day Holiday, but for residents in and around Fort Walton Beach, the Memorial Day Celebration and Baytowne Warf is one event worth checking out!
