Starters
Before the entrees arrive, you can pique your appetite with any of the bistro’s appetizers. The soup of the day is always available in either a cup or a bowl, and if you want something you can share, Ali’s has plenty to offer. The fried calamari comes with marinara sauce, while the fried ravioli packs melting ricotta cheese into breaded bites. Other seafood starters include garlic butter escargot, as well as mussels in a savory sauce.
Pizza

The classic Mediterranean pizza comes with feta and mozzarella with fresh spinach, black olives, artichokes, and tomato; while the Supreme comes loaded with sausage, pepperoni, olives, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, all on shredded mozzarella and tomato sauce. If you like pineapple on pizza, go with the Hawaiian, and if you want bolder flavors, don’t miss the anchovy pizza complete with capers and two kinds of olives.
Pasta
Fresh, hot bread accompanies all the restaurant’s pasta options, with choices of dishes like eggplant parmesan and baked ziti on the menu. Cheese lovers should consider the creamy pasta alfredo, which can be ordered on its own or with the addition of chicken or shrimp. The signature Ali’s pasta features spaghetti sautéed with anchovies, basil, capers, olive oil, and garlic; while the ravioli can be stuffed with either ground beef or ricotta cheese.
From the Land and Sea
Ali’s entrees feature classic Italian preparations, and some can be made with your choice of chicken or veal, like the parmesan dishes involving a light breading before being fried and served with marinara. Seafood options include pan-seared salmon and fried shrimp as well. Remember to ask about the steak of the day to see which delicious cut is available for dinner.
