The Nissan Versa has always been an affordable car of quality beginning with its 2006 debut. Then, the 2007 model received the Consumers Digest’s “Best Buy Award”. This vehicle hit the road running ever since.

The Versa leads its class with plenty of size in interior length and spacious, comfortable seats. In 2009, it won a multitude of awards. In fact, this vehicle won the Consumers Digest’s “Best Buy Award” for the third year in a row! The 2009 Nissan Versa also won AutoPacific’s “2008 Ideal Vehicle Award for Economy Car”, was given the best IIHS ratings, and was named a “Top 10 Least Expensive Vehicle to Own” according to ForbesAuto.com.

The 2010 Versa continued to stack numerous of awards. It further established the award-winning model as a reckoning force among its competitors. The grill was redesigned and had a new design for the 1.8S model’s wheel covers and was still the least car expensive in the US. A moonroof package was also available on that Hatchback’s version only.

The 2011 Nissan Versa was the last of the first generation, as the 2012 Nissan Versa began the second generation of this vehicle, debuting at the 2011 New York Auto Show. It included Bluetooth connectivity, a navigation system, touch-screen display, satellite radio, and an iPod/USB interface. It was also the least expensive car, according to ThoughtCo.
