This February, Lee Nissan in Fort Walton Beach will partner with Rescued Rescuers to host a dog adoption event. Whether you have a particular affinity for dachshunds or just a big heart for canines in general, this is a prime opportunity to embark on a beautiful new friendship.
Event Details
We will hold the pet adoption here at our dealership on Saturday, February 8. The event will run from noon until 3 p.m. We hope to bring the Rescued Rescuers’ lovable dogs out to greet guests from all around Fort Walton Beach, and you’re invited to come meet the newest member of your family. While they specialize in dachshunds, our partners have rescued dogs of various ages and breeds, and we know you’ll be charmed by the lovable personalities we have coming to the dealership. Lee Nissan is located at 235 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32548.
Before the Adoption
Rescued Rescuers is not an animal shelter, and the dogs they care for live in the homes of volunteers prior to adoption. While staying in these foster homes, animals can receive professional veterinary care and learn to trust humans. Many of these dogs came from places that didn’t give them the attention and care that animals need, so the Rescuers work hard to help them adapt to life with a loving family.
Rescued Rescuers
Rescued Rescuers: Dachshunds and Friends of the Emerald Coast is comprised of a board of directors and a dedicated team of volunteers. Everyone involved works together to save dogs from overfilled shelters and other hazardous environments. The board members each have more than 15 years of rescue experience, and the organization has access to top vets to ensure their rescues are happy and healthy.
